In June 2026 F5 launched the F5 AI Security Platform, incorporating F5 AI Guardrails and F5 AI Red Team, which originated with the CalypsoAI acquisition, alongside SurePath AI for network-based discovery of shadow AI. F5 Workforce AI Security announced
An agentless addition to the F5 AI Security Platform that passively discovers employee AI use and agent actions from network traffic, applies central policies and redacts sensitive data from prompts in real time. Availability is planned for October 2026.
Agentic-ready F5 AI Gateway joins the AI Security Platform
F5 enhanced AI Gateway as a unified control plane for AI requests, adding an MCP Gateway function with fine-grained access controls and audit trails, plus smart routing, model tiering and semantic caching to control AI costs.
